The design for the STU campus building is organised around the concept of a continuous ribbon — a single unfolding line that weaves floors, walls, and learning spaces into one fluid sequence. The journey begins at the forest edge, where a generous flight of steps scoops students off the street and into a double-volume entrance foyer. Inside, level changes within the ribbon create spatial variations — stepped seating, raked classrooms, and blended learning zones that dissolve the boundaries between collaboration, study, and public life.

The building is wrapped in a bold steel screen inspired by the intricate patterns of Ukrainian embroidery, shielding the façade from direct sunlight while extending onto the street as a sweeping public canopy. The geometric lattice gives the building a striking civic presence — at once culturally rooted and unmistakably contemporary.
